Longitude 59 update

So with the start of school Longitude 59 is now a little on the back burner. So far, we have a 2d environment, a player character and a mob (a giant rat). The player character can attack the mob, which in turn the mob will attack back. That's about all we have, I am taking a class in 3d modeling this fall and will continue working on the project when I get a model made.

Longitude 59

I am starting a new programming project with Jo from AlJo Productions (my fiance), called Longitude 59, an MMORPG loosely based on Meridian 59, one of Jo's favorite games. Written Java the project is currently is early development stages and in 2D. Final plans for this project is planned to be in 3D and include 3D modeling done by myself, and the use of Jo's fantabulous networking skills. Will update when progress is made. Looking forward to getting a working game!

Laptop

John and I went to CompUSA last Tuesday to get my laptop back, only to find out that it has been lost in shipping. Long story short it was shipped to a store that shut down after they shipped the laptop and now the Tech Manager is calling around to try and find out where it is.

A Little Behind...

So, I haven't written in a while, been a little busy. School ended and my grades were all good, mostly A's. Summer school started and those classes aren't so bad. John and I are moving in July to Idyllwild Apartments. Things will be great, its gated and a small community. We bought a couch a week ago and we will be getting it a little after we move. Its sectional and has a sleeper and recliner. Just a little update I'll try and get back a little later with somemore stuff.

A Stressful Weekend

This weekend was pretty stressful. On Thursday, John and I went to CompUSA to get my laptop fixed, one of the fans stopped running, and they said they would put my laptop up for review for Lemon Law, so this was good. Then on Friday we had the storm and I ended up taking care of John all night, not that this has to do with this stressful story but follows the timeline so I though I'd mention it. On Saturday I was was John's place and Roxie knocked the power cord off the wall and it blew my main harddrive and John's graphics card. So we were back to CompUSA on Saturday taking my desktop in to get the harddrive replaced. I should get it back around Tuesday. Yesterday, on Sunday, John and I both ordered new graphics cards. John got himself a Radeon X1650 256 mb which is pretty good, it will do everything he needs. I on the other hand ordered a Radeon X1950 PRO 256 mb, the low end of the top of the line product from ATI right now, I can't wait! Should be in later this week I'll probably post up here my FPS and maybe some screenshots from the beatifulness that will be me playing the computer.

Sickness

This week has been a horrible, long, bed ridden time of sickness. I got sick on Monday and went to the doctor and over the course of the day my temperature went from 99.2 to 101.3, which is really high for me. Its been 4 years since my temperature has been this high. Tuesday morning I was feeling alot better and it looked like the medicine I got from the doctor had worked and that I was over the worst. Well I still think the worst is behind me but now, this morning, I woke up, the sore throat back, a small headache and some pretty bad coughing. I have yet to hear back from the doctor about the strep test, the 10 minute test was negative but he seemed confident that the 72 hour test would be positive. I have 10 days of medicine and I have been supplementing with lots of Tylenol and Advil. Fortunately, John only felt bad for mainly 2 days, Tuesday and Wednesday. He didn't get a doctor's appointment but we have him on lots of meds. Today is his first day back to work since Monday.
He was so great taking care of me on Monday even though he didn't feel so hot himself. He stayed up most of the night checking on me and making sure my temperature was staying low. I love that man. I'm hoping that I will feel fine before tomorrow so that I can still tutor and John can get a little computer fixing money. Pray for me, I need it!

Plants

Ok here is how my plants how progressed this week.
Here are the bell peppers.

Here are the green onions.

The chives...

And the cilantro

Busy, Busy, Busy

Over the last 4 days I've had a quiz, a paper, and a test in school. I've worked my ass off getting everything done, but everything seemed to get done only half-assed, it doesn't seem like I had time to put my full efforts into all of it. Luckily, my paper's due date got changed to next Tuesday, unfortunately we only found this out in class the day it was due...thanks.

On a different, happier note, John and I have been talking seriously about marriage. And the more we talk the more it seems I can see myself wedded to this man. A forever love my mom calls it. I know this is a forever love, because when you feel complete when he is there, and lonely when he's not, when you feel like you would do anything for him, and know he would do the same, when you know you can handle anything life hands because he is there, then you know its forever love. So let me think about this...

10 Things I Love About John:
1. His silly puns and jokes, I've grown to love them.
2. His innocence.
3. The way he looks at me, the love in his eyes
4. His family, the ones I've met so far.
5. The way I know he'd do anything for me.
6. How he's always thinking of ways to make me happy.
7. How when we are being intimate he always asks how I'm feeling.
8. His ethics.
9. His patience and understanding.
10. His strong arms when he hugs me, I feel safe.
11. That I couldn't stop at 10 because there are too many things to love about him.

I love you John and everything about you.

Awakened...from a Development Sleep

I've spent almost 4 hours in an IRC chatroom today with some buddies from Awakened MMORPG. And as I write this I'm still in there mostly listening but getting my opinion in occasionally. John and I are enjoying a nice Tex Mex evening with Tex Mex Deviled Eggs, Fajitas and Margaritas. Also I've been putting off a paper for History this weekend, I really should work on this...I guess I'll get it done soon. I kinda have to. Well that's really all for now, Awakened seems to be going really well, we hammered out a few things tonight, John joined the network team maybe and I talked more in a chatroom than I ever have in my life. Baby steps.
